What makes your law firm unique?

My law office is located in Downtown Mount Clemens, walking distance from the Macomb County Circuit Court. The building is an historic home built in 1890. It is important to me and my staff that you feel as comfortable there as we do.  A visit to your attorney should never be a source of stress but rather a resource for knowledge (because knowledge is power) and confirmation that you are in good hands.

Describe your ideal client.

Summary of Firm

I am a sole practitioner. With the exception of this profile, I do not advertise. All of my clients are referred to me from former clients or from esteemed individuals in the legal community who trust that I am the person best-suited to help an individual confronted with legal issues related to pre- or post-judgment divorce matters, separation, paternity, custody, parenting time or child support.  My compassion for my clients is apparent from our first meeting and, once hired, I am the only attorney who will be by your side throughout your entire case.  As a wife and mother of two children, I understand the emotion that naturally presents itself in this area of the law.  However, I believe strongly that the legal process can unfold in a dignified manner if you have the right lawyer and the right advice. Knowledgable in all aspects of property division, Michigan Child Support Guidelines, Michigan Court Rules, Rules of Evidence, statutes, and applicable case law, I have practiced in the family division of the Macomb County Circuit Court for my entire 18-year career in family law.  From 2013 to 2014, I served as President of the Macomb County Bar Association and have always made it a priority to stay informed and continue my legal education. I look forward to meeting you.
